Saga and I and our mummies went for a lovely walk on djurgarden before going to Engelbrektskyrkan to listen to Matthaus-Passion which was lovely but quite long...

Perfect activities for this particular day...unfortunately there was not enough time for studying...so now I have 30 pages in 4 days ahead of me...wish me luck :)

Weekend in Berry - Part 2

I had solsting so I stayed at home this particular afternoon, but Ingrid and some of the others went to the lake..

Extremely happy to be able to play some guitar again, note to self: bring guitar (and straw hat) to Paris.

 When our friend Cyrille invited us to his Mad Men party we were very excited to pick out what to wear and we did have quite fun fooling around in our outfits

In Sweden we say that the one who waits for something good never waits too long. However I do not agree...not in Paris anyway

but it really is the best confit de canard I've had so far...you can find it at a charming little restaurant called le Pavé between Pompidou and Rivoli...I highly recommend it - especially for brunch mm

Mystery solved

 

As I passed by the bridge between ile Saint Louis and ile de la cité this friday I noticed the man with the huge vehicle-installation was there again.  I just could not walk by without putting an end to my curiosity and asking him everything I was wondering about... 

The first thing I asked was why he had created all of it (he had made 4 new additional fountains one in the picture above) he answered simply for beauty.

 

 His name is Michel Godin des Mers and as the sign suggests he is an actor/innovator/artisan/poet. He gave me two papers one with a text on politics and one with poetry. 

Even though I might not share his political values I still have to say I appreciate his choice in way of expressing himself

 So if you want to catch a glimpse of Mr des Mers you should be on the bridge between the islands on Friday evenings between 20-00

Ice cream tuesday - yummay

Marvellous day to premier my new sunglasses that I found in a Vintage shop in Marais, might show a close-up of them later as I'm very proud of this finding!

So, Saturday me, Ingrid, Emilia, Live, Johanna & Anna-Maria went to a crazy Party in Marais

 

 And met some awesome people

after that,  on our way to Cirque we passed by Perle and found some friends who gave us a ride in their funny car
